We currently have a vacancy for an Information Systems Security Officer at our site in RAF Marham
As an Information Systems Security Officer, you will be part of the team, who are responsible for safeguarding BAE Systems Information against cyber security threats. You will be working on a project of significant strategic importance in the organisation, ensuring that information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
As part of the IM&T function, this role will provide you with the opportunity to work with other IT specialists to ensure that our systems comply with the security requirements.
Your main responsibilities as an Information Systems Security Officer will involve:
Supporting the implementation of the Information System Security program in the RAF Marham F35 Integrated Training Centre (ITC), utilizing the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), F-35 Certification and Accreditation Documents and other governing documentation
Participating in developing and updating ITC Risk Management and Accreditation Document Sets (RMADS) in-line with BAE Systems and HMG requirements
Providing security administration support including: media control and scanning; hardware control and inventory coordination; physical escort of security relevant test equipment; privileged user training; general SAPF customer support
Supporting the implementation of an effective F-35 cybersecurity education, training, and awareness program for all ITC Staff
Your skills and qualifications as an Information Systems Security Officer:
Obtain and maintain DoD 8570.01 certifications to meet or exceed IAM Level I and IAT Level II
Working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures
Knowledge of HMG and industry security policy, standards and good practice guidance and their application

You will be passionate and knowledgeable about IT Security, with the ability to manage an often busy and demanding workload.
You must have strong communication skills and as this role is project based, you must be prepared for some travel to sites across the UK where needed.
