"Small" challenge for coders/programmers out there

    Hello dear coders/programmers,

I would like to give you guys a small challenge.

    Idea:

Create a 2D or 3D speed simulator (object: a car or bike) moves forward (down or up on screen, NOT left or right) on a road with white lines as in real world and trees on both sides (so that it gives you a perspective of what "speed" is).

What i'd like to see in this speed simulator:

    - Being able to adjust the speed (mph or km/h)
    - see how much miles/km's you travelled and for how long (maybe a bit more specific like, I travelled 10 miles at a speed of 50mph and the other 5 miles at a speed of 100mph + how long it took you to do that).
    - Add car or bike bots that you can configure (speed, weight, horsepower)
    - Add weight and horsepower to your object (car or bike)
    - Others

The design doesn't have to be top notch, just being able to see how it feels like to travel at different speed (the "perpective" of traveling the speeds).
Share it online and let us try it out

    What do you guys think?

I think you should do your own homework or semester project.
