    Ruby on rails - requirements?

    Hey,

Me and a couple of friends are launching a start-up that builds on an online platform. We are about to hire a couple of freelancers to help us with the coding and they want to do it on Ruby on rails. I understand that it is a open source framework and found the license agreement below. However, I do not fully understand if we have to share the code of the platform once it is done or not? I want to make sure that we do not spend all of our money on the platform to realise that we then have to share it with potential competitors. Could anyone explain to me if we do need to share the code or not?

If you rent a freelancer, then you pay for them to do your job. Then i think you don't need to share code for them. Because, you rent them to do. not co-operate with them. Ok, fine?
If you share with them, then it's ricky. because it's your idea, your teamwork. It may affect to your start-up company.
