    Text editor settings

I'm pretty much new to this forum and I'm trying to learn Python programming, however I have some strong issues that need fixing, before I can begin with the programming, main one being that any text editor that I download from the world wide web won't run Python 3 code due to some settings that aren't correctly done or applied yet. So I'm asking you, if you are an expert and you've faced something similar, to offer me a solution on how to run a Python 3 code on text editors, such as Atom, Sublime Text, and Brackets? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, I'm not a Python user. However, I use Visual Studio Code for my text editor, and they have a tutorial for getting started with Python on their text editor. Perhaps that will help with whatever settings you're having problems with.

Just so you know, Visual Studio Code is free and works with quite a few coding languages. You might want to give it a try.

It also runs atop Electron, the same mix of node.js and Blink that Atom uses... which I think says a lot about the status of both Chakra and UWP when M$ won't even use their own scripting+renderer+stack for building an editor.

You can configure which functions to appear in the text editor. For example, which buttons to display when a user opens the editor to leave a comment on the website. You can define your custom toolsets and set different tool sets for different modules.

To edit the tool sets used for all modules and to leave comments, perform the following:

In the main menu, click Administration » Settings.
    The Basic settings page appears.
    Click Text editor.
To change the tool set used for all backend modules, click the Edit link of Default tool set.
An XML list of all tools appears. You can add or remove tools by inserting or deleting.
    Click Save.
To change the tool set used for all comments, click the Edit link of Tool set for comments.
An XML list of all tools appears. You can add or remove tools by inserting or deleting.
    Click Save.
To change the tool set used for all forums, click the Edit link of Tool set for forums.
An XML list of all tools appears. You can add or remove tools by inserting or deleting.
    Click Save.
To create a custom tool set and apply it to a particular module, perform the following:
For example, you may want the text editor for entering news to be simpler and has less functions.
Click Create a tool set button.
The default tool set appears as a base for creating your custom tool set.
Add or remove tools from the XML list by inserting or deleting.
Enter a Tool set name and click Save.
Click Save changes and refresh your browser.
