    Lightbulb 3D Game Comparison

Hi. I've been wanting to create a database for my 3D Game Comparison for years but I don't have the coding experience to do it--and I've tried various methods: PHP+MySQL, CMSes, and I'm currently attempting to use MediaWiki to create it but it's just not designed for it, I'm finding (and it requires a lot of 3rd-party extensions to even begin to approach my design ideas).

The design is pretty straightforward, mimicking existing sites like MobyGames and DevMaster, but the key difference between those sites and the one I want to create is the comparison table/matrix.

Lately, I've found matrix comparison websites that offer feature comparisons but, unfortunately, the software behind such sites is either incompatible with my host (requires root access, which I don't have) or is simply unavailable to the public. Hence, my posting here to see if anyone else is interested in this project.

I've had this request on my site for years but no one's ever emailed me about it so I guess it's not a very popular idea but I still want to create the site. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I took a quick look at the database design on the page you linked to and I have some easy ways to simplify your table layouts-- but I don't really have time to be an official member of the club. You aught to post in the MySQL forum here for a bit of database design help just to set your ship on a good bearing.
