    Have you modified my default code? I don't sell software with syntax errors.

    If you install the default software out of the box, without making any code revisions, does it work?

    Can you copy and paste lines 15, 16, and 17 of your index.php?

    Edit: Also, what do you see if you echo $className inside the spl_autoload_register function?:
    Code:
        spl_autoload_register(function($className) {
            echo $className;
            if (!class_exists($className))
            {
                    include (is_file($className . '.class.php')) ? $className . '.class.php' : 'extractors' . DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR . $className . '.php';
            }
        });

    Hi,

    Not sure if there was a question in there or if you still needed help?

    When adding PHP formatting tags to your forum post, I noticed that you changed this line to display errors (presumably, to troubleshoot something in your code):

    ini_set('display_errors’,1);

    One of the single quotes there is nonstandard...Try changing that line to:

    PHP Code:
    ini_set('display_errors',1);
    Does that fix your syntax error?

    FYI: If you aren't already, I strongly suggest that you start using a scripting editor with syntax highlighting, so that you can clearly see syntax errors in your code. Notepad++ is a good place to start.

    Hi,

    Please see this post: http://codingforums.com/post-php-sni...ml#post1348484

    Downloading age-restricted videos is tricky via a public web interface because users either have to entrust their YouTube login data with you or you need some kind of long-lived, authenticated connection to YouTube.

    Maybe, like Facebook, you could prompt a user login via a YouTube-hosted login page. Perhaps using oAuth via the YouTube API would allow this kind of login anonymity: https://developers.google.com/youtub...uth#standalone. But then I think you need to create and register a valid YouTube app, and I'm not sure it's a great idea to register a YouTube conversion site with YouTube (since this software technically violates their terms and conditions). The only API requests I do currently are unauthenticated, so if you start authenticating with YouTube, this might give them reason to flag your site for abuse or ban your site altogether?

    Furthermore, to my knowledge, there aren't a ton of age-restricted videos. Subsequently, there hasn't been a big demand for me to implement such a feature in the software.

    Perhaps in the future, I will enable the download of such videos -- assuming I can do it in a way that doesn't put your site squarely on YouTube's radar, and also simultaneously doesn't force your site users to compromise their YouTube login credentials. We'll see! I do have this feature on my "To-Do" list, so perhaps you will see this functionality in a future version of the software!
    Regards, R.J.

    That screenshot is so tiny, I can just barely make out what it depicts!

    Looks like you have a lot of buffer flushing warnings. See the relevant section of the FAQ about this:

    Q.When error reporting is enabled or when I check the Apache error log, I see the following PHP notice"Notice: ob_flush() : failed to flush buffer. No buffer to flush...". What does this mean?
    I also see something in there about an open_basedir restriction. See this section of the FAQ:

    Q.When I enter a URL and click the "Convert" button, the page reloads, shows me a "Download" progress bar, and nothing happens and/or I see the message "Error downloading remote file!" (or "Error downloading video!"). Why is this?
    ...and, specifically, this verbiage:

    Ensure that the PHP "safe_mode" directive is set to "Off" and the PHP "open_basedir" directive is set to no value or "". Both directives can be modified in your server's php.ini file, PHP's main configuration file on your server.

    Hi,

    I don't have any immediate plans to integrate either of those sites with the software. I may do so at some point in the future, but I don't know when or if that will happen.

    That said, I do appreciate the suggestion!

    If your question is "Can I add those sites to my software?", then the answer is "Yes"! You need to create corresponding class files in the '/extractors' directory (one for each site), and then add the sites to the $_videoHosts array in Config.class.php.

    If you need help with this, let me know!

    Thanks!

    next extractors myvideo.php
    but what I write purely ?
    I don't know exactly what values you would include in the new $_videoHosts array element nor do I know what exact code you would include in MyVideo.php. I haven't created this code yet. But the software is written in such a way as to facilitate the addition of more video hosting sites. So with some knowledge of PHP programming and OOP, you can do this yourself.

    In a nutshell, you need to extend the abstract Extractor class (Extractor.php) with a MyVideo class that at least implements the abstract methods in Extractor. Then you add the new element to the
    $_videoHosts array, i.e. (this is NOT accurate -- just an example):

    PHP Code:
    => array(
    'name' => 'MyVideo',   // same name as in MyVideo.php
    'abbreviation' => 'mv',  // abbreviation mostly used for short URLs
    'url_root' => array(
    'http://www.myvideo.de/watch/'   // whatever the root URL or URLs is for ALL video pages, minus the video ID at the end
    ),
    'url_example_suffix' => '9734019',  // example video ID at the end of root url
    'allow_https_urls' => true,
    'src_video_type' => 'mp4',   // if FFmpeg conversion is required, the file container format used to store the temporary video file that will ultimately be converted to the requested file type
    'video_qualities' => array(
    'hd' => 'src_hd'// high definition   // the video hosting site "codes" used to indicate HD, HQ, SD, LD video qualities (usually found in the video page source, a video info page, or via an anonymous API request)
    'hq' => 'src_hd'// high quality
    'sd' => 'src_sd'// standard definition
    'ld' => 'src_sd' // low definition
    )

    Your best bet is to review how I have done this for the other 7 video/audio sites, and emulate the process and code written.

    Unfortunately, I can't write this code for you, for free. If you don't know how to write this code yourself, then perhaps you'd like to hire me to write the code for you? Let me know...

    Thanks!
