    PostgreSQL for web development and mobile application ?

    Hi everybody,

    Everything is in the title, do you think that PostgreSQL is suitable for web development and mobile application ° with ASP.net° ?

    Eh... depends on if it's a standalone application or something that talks to a server. If you're running it on the server, fine... getting postGreSQL installed on a mobile device for a local applet? Yeah, good luck with that.

    Though I don't consider ASP.NET suitable for doing much of anything -- but that's probably because of the utter garbage nonsensical gibberish anything it does automatically 'for you' vomits up and has the unmitigated gall to call HTML when working with web technologies.

    ... but I'm extra-sensitive on the subject of HTML clearly built by people who have no business even using the language. From asp.net's idiotic "let's wrap the whole page in a form with a 64k hash as a hidden field" to bootcrap's "structural rules, what's that then?!?"
