    Simple gallery script

I have a simple HTML gallery on my site (here), when you click a thumbnail it opens a new window from where you can browse through the pictures using a right/left arrow. As it is all html, it is completely static and when I want to move thumbnails around I have to make sure the arrows in all the adjacent view windows still point to the correct picture (corresponding with the thumbnail left or right of it).

I want to make this a bit more felxible so I can easily switch their order while the arrows always point to the picture left or right of it.

I want to try to solve this with Javascript, but I'm sure there are multiple solutions to this problem, as my gallery mechanics aren't exactly revolutionairy. Any help, previous experience or ideas are very welcome.

The code isn't yet a problem, for now it's mostly the way in how to best aproach this.

    Looks very nice already..

You mentioned that you use plain html to create the thumb nails etc.

Since your website is hosted on Apache/2.0.51 (Fedora) (ServerSpy plugin firefox ), you should have PHP installed. Here is a FolderGallery project by Joonas Viljanen that I think would be of interest to you.
