Question What's the best way to insert a text file in a table

I've been using iframe and can hide borders, scrollbars and make the text 'blend' into tables on a page but there must be a better way.
I want to allow non-html users to simply write a text file or a Word doc that I can insert into tables on their webpages, I will overwrite the file each time it's changed (I upload to Hostway, manually). It's for basic content changes on a page where there are a number of 'targeted' tables where text (from different files) would go.
Is there something to add to a table like {document.write("filename.txt")} or a script that I can use that would do the same cross browser?
    Thanks in advance

there are other ways using javascript, but what they amount to is more complicated ways of using an IFrame. you're really just better off using the iframe, here.
