Setting Internet Option-Print Background Colors and Images

    Hi y'all!

I've been searching the web trying to find out how to set the internet option: Print Background Colors and Images with Javascript. I haven't stumbled on anything yet, so I was hoping somebody here could help me.

I've got an HTML page using bgcolors and when the page is printed to a printer, the bgcolor needs to print too. Currently to get this to work, the users are having to manually go to their browser and select Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and check Print Background Colors and Images on. I need to set this automatically for them. This is only needed for browser IE6. Is this possible through Javascript within my HTML? If so, could somebody please post an example script.

JavaScript has no power over changing the options of the user's browser. All you can do is add a note to the user to change their setting.

There may be an activeX option just for IE, but most people have ActiveX blocked due to security reasons.
