    Handle Radio Stream

    Hi All,
    I want to create a JavaScript based radio player that can be played on all websites including those on mobile devices. I was able to generate the interface to the player with JavaScript and then tried to handle the radio stream with the source attribute of HTML5 audio element as follows:

    <audio id="audio">
    <source src="http://Put your hosting company url here:Put your port number here/"/>

    The source attribute takes the url of the radio hosting company and the port they assign to their station. Unfortunate the audio element of HTML5 only handles files, not streams. I have searched for javascript radio player code on the web but no luck so far. Can someone please point me to a site if there is one that talks about this. Thanks in advance.
