Is there a way to make part of a website accessible to only those who get a link?

I'm just starting with HTML, but I'm trying to find out if there is a way to only allow certain people to access a website.

So for example, I'm going to post my Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe on my site and I want the people who have paid for that recipe to be able to see it first. Later I will release the recipe to the public. Is there a way to only allow those who have paid in to see the recipe? I'm assuming if it is based off of a link, that this link can be shared, right?

    Thanks for your help!

If you just started learning this maybe a little too much for you on your own. It involves a server side language and a database. I use PHP and MYSql. It just might be simpler for you to email the recipes. If not look here https://www.phpjabbers.com/free-php-user-login-script/, but your still going to email the buyer the password and you need to change the database and place the buyer and the password into it. So emailing the recipe is probably the best bet.

Okay. So it can be done. Yeah, I'm new to coding, but I'm not expecting to be doing this tomorrow. I have time to grow. I appreciate the link too.
