    Unhappy Form post not forwarding to email address

    I added one additional field to a previously working form and now it does not forward information to the email address. It's probably a simple error but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Here is the code with my changes highlighted in sandy:

    <form action="mailto:schera@finaltouchhousekeepers.com" name="contacts" id="contacts" method="post" onsubmit="contact(); return false;" >

    <p class="form">Name:<br />
    <input name="fname" type="text" /><br />
    Telephone Number:<br />
    <input name="phone" type="text" /><br />
    # Of Bedrooms:<br />
    <input name="bedrooms" type="text" /><br />
    # Of Bathrooms:<br />
    <input name="bathrooms" type="text" /><br />
    Frequency Of Service:<br />
    <input name="frequency" type="text" /><br />
    City <br /><input name="City" type="text" /><br />
    <input type="reset" class="btnr" value="" /><input type="submit" name="submit" class="btns" value="" /></p>

    You can't use mailto: with forms - mailto: just opens the visitor's email program and ignores the form.

    To send the form content as an email you need to use a form2mail script.

    Don't forget to start your JavaScript code with "use strict"; which makes it easier to find errors in your code.
