    2 items side by side

    Hello. I am trying to build a website. I have some HTML knowledge but still, no pro. I have a picture in the middle of my page. I want to add a comment box beside the picture with some space between them. I want the comment box to be centered with the picture. I have it on my page now and the comment box is on the right side of the page where I wanted it, but it is higher up on the page than the picture is. Here is the code I am using.

    [CODE]<div align="center"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt;"><img alt="Pasquale Di Scipio / Filomena Priore" src="/patsy_and_filomena.jpg" width="423" align="middle" height="290"></center><align="right"><!-- BEGIN MyShoutbox.com CODE -->
    <iframe src="http://612085.myshoutbox.com/" width="205" height="400" frameborder="1" allowTransparency="true"></iframe>
    <!-- END MyShoutbox.com CODE--></span>[CODE]

    What am I doing wrong? Here is the link to my site so you can see what I am talking about

    Maria's Family

    Thank you

    Hello mmet67,
    A caption for an image is easy to control when both the image and caption are contain in their own div. Look at these easy image caption examples.
    Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
    Use a DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad
