Custom color setting for IE 9 <back and forward> buttons

    Hi guys--

I've noticed many websites have back and forward buttons displaying in various colors - and without being pinned and/or dragged onto the taskbar or desktop. For instance, this YouTube link takes you to a page where the buttons are set to display in silver (or transparent) without having to be pinned... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVGFqW7H0-8

So, what is the code that can set their color like in the YouTube page above? I've checked some site's page source but can't figure out how they're doing it.

So far I've found only the following code which can set a color for the back and forward buttons, but, this color setting only prevents the browser from choosing a color based on the favicon colors, and again, it works only for websites that have been pinned or dragged onto the desktop or taskbar...

    •<meta name="application-name" content="Site Start Page"/>
    •<meta name="msapplication-tooltip" content="Start here"/>
    •<meta name="msapplication-starturl" content="http://example.com/start.html"/>
    •<meta name="msapplication-window" content="width=800;height=600"/>
    •<name="msapplication-navbutton-color" content="red"/>
