No, not with JavaScript. Have a look at https://support.google.com/sites/answer/97459?hl=en

All the code given in this post has been tested and is intended to address the question asked.
Unless stated otherwise it is not just a demonstration.

There are many of the live website tracking tools available but most of the webmasters go for Google Analytics. Some of them who find Google Analytics difficult they go for Clicky. These tools can used by adding the Tracking code in your code.

You can track visitors of your sites.fllowing 3 Steps
Step 1: Get an Analytics tracking ID. Sign up for an Analytics account if you don't already have one. Find your Analytics tracking ID.
Step 2: Add Analytics tracking. On a computer, open a site in new Google Sites. Click More Site Analytics. Enter a valid tracking ID.
Step 3: See your data. Open Analytics. View your data.

I use Google Analytics and also Ahrefs
With the help of these platforms, you can analyze your competitors, including their visitors. And you can to follow some steps of your competitors.
