    request page

hello i have not been on this forum in yonks lol so go careful lol
any ways i would love to build a song request page for listeners with a search bar on
and with all the artists and titles on as well? but thing is i would like it to be automated

now when someone requests a song say like Bon Jovi it's my life for example
it goes through to email or a bot then a script says thank you for your request song will be played soon.

but i don't want to use twitch or any other rubbish software i would like to
have my own request feature if possible

    1) Will you by paying for all of the copyrights to store these songs and play them? Songs are copyrighted material, you can't just copy them, put them on your website and let people listen to them. The only reason you can copy music is because you purchased it and wish to make a copy for your OWN personal listening.

    2) In the U.S., with Google Home, Amazon Echo, Suri, bluetooth, I can listen to anything I want using an online service that DOES pay for and provide copyrighted material. Some of the services have ads, or is a paid service, but the music is available without even visiting a website or typing.

I don't think it's a good idea, or worth the time and effort ... but that's my opinion. Everyone has their own limits to what lines they cross.

You could go with wordpress. Find a nice theme that deals with music, songs, downloads. Then customize it.

Or you could do your own using PHP/PDO (PDO database). This would require quite a bit of scripting though. Perhaps hire a freelancer? But this would be my choice over wordpress.

With wordpress, the theme you purchase (or find for free) would need to have all of the member register/login, as well as the database (media library) designed for doing playlists.

Subscribe to a new shared webhost.
There are some really cheap ones such as cleverdot.com ($40 for the 1st year and that includes a domain name).
    That's a little over $3 per month.
Work on a whole new site totally separate from your existing radio station. Don't give anyone a link to it until you are ready to roll.

And then, for a one-time $60 fee, you purchase a whole wordpress theme ready to go:
    https://themeforest.net/item/musicpl...79416?s_rank=1

You have the webhost automatically install wordpress (by using your website control panel) as your website and install a pre-made theme.
Configure and customize. You could have a totally working site in a couple of hours.
