    Site Hosting Advice

I am working on my first webpage for a client (a friend), and don't know much about setting up a host. I have an account with x10hosting and am in need of some advice. Should I set him up under my account, or create a separate account for the client and bill directly to him? There won't be many changes once it's up, but he will need me to make them when they do occur.

Most web hosting sites just flat out suck. Not only do they look spammy and unreliable, they are spammy and unreliable.

Enter HostingAdvice.com, a site created by a team of real web experts who have a combined 54 years of experience in web hosting. From sites with millions of visits to small personal projects, our programmers and tech managers spend thousands of dollars monthly on a wide variety of hosting services.

You can always check Low End Box - Cheap VPS Hosting Providers Listing & Reviews for the bottom of the barell pricing.
I use Linode and DigitalOcean all the time for all my projects like Magento Extensions, Plugins & Modules | Rating of Best ones! and if you want RAM (you should, unless disk constrained) right now Linode has the best price on a 2GB instance. I used Vultr at some point but since I already am invested in the two above I didn't want to start using a third offering the same features at the same price. I also had a dedicated box with online.net for about one year and I have nothing to fault them.
I find AWS too complicated for personal use and I never am sure of what am I going to pay.

If you want to avoid being responsible for your friend's yearly prolongation, set up a separate account for them so that they will be billed directly.

You can easily host your PHP websites using Cloudways platform. Just create an account and launch your php hosting server. Add your client as a team member to that server with "Billing Access" privilege. This way your client will receive invoice for only that server. This will make invoicing clients for you easier.
