Not sure if I clearly understand what your saying here. But it seems like your saying that you have uploaded your HTML and image files to your web host and when you view your site, all your seeing is an index of your files and folders?

    1) you may be uploading to the wrong directory.
    2) you may need to rename your home page HTML file so it reads "index.html" and not something else.
    3) It could be an .htaccess issue.

Could you post the link to where you are seeing this index of files and folders?
The more information you post, the better we can help.

Are you using FTP? The easiest thing is to use your CPanel to set up an FTP account for yourself. Then use a free program like Filezilla (http://filezilla-project.org/) to upload your website files to the folder in your domain called 'public_html'.

And make sure your homepage file is named 'index.html'.
