    Bypassing icloud activation

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I need your help. My Uncle was sent an I-PAD 2 from the USA to Uganda with IMEI 013216006426081. The original owner of the I-PAD forgot the password for the icloud account she put in and we tried to update the iTunes and a password for the original account is required before I can be in position to recover the I-PAD functionality. I created a new icloud for him which I am hoping to add to the I-PAD after finding a remedy for bypassing the old account. I am therefore requesting for help from anyone who can see us through this struggle of bypassing the icloud account or to remove the old account. Thank you.

Translation: I have a stolen Ipad I need to break into. No help on this forum.
To save time, lets just assume I am almost never wrong.

    The XY Problem
The XY problem is asking about your attempted solution (X) rather than your actual problem (Y). This leads to enormous amounts of wasted time and energy, both on the part of people asking for help, and on the part of those providing help.

Hm, I’m undecided; I don’t want to jump to conclusions before knowing the background of this. However, I think this isn’t the right forum for such questions in the first place. We don’t even have an appropriate forum category where I could move this thread.

No mate, benanamen, this one is not stolen for your information. I just don't see it ethical to utter words any how when you have no prior knowledge of how people come to seek for remedies from this platform. I have always sought for solutions here and it has always worked in my favour. Anyway, you are entitled to your own opinion which does not hold any water to me!

VIP Stephan, thanks for the advice but however, I would believe that, the best way to advice people on how to seek for other ways of doing things is to give better alternatives which will make them to sail through with ease. In this case, if you get for me another platform which could be of help to me then the better. Thank you.

Unfortunately I don’t know of any better forum, otherwise I would have recommended it to you already. Perhaps Apple’s official iCloud support forum might be of help? From a quick search I have read that the original owner should contact Apple to remove any locks, so perhaps you could get in contact with the original owner to sort this out through Apple. If this is a legitimate purchase this shouldn’t be a problem.
