    firebug says "randomizeContent is not defined"

    Guess some definition is missing in JS part.

    You mean here in this forum? Yeah, there are a couple of errors and I believe Iíve addressed some in the past but nobody would listen anyway, and less than ever fix it. That it's possible shows that the forum on http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/ is valid (just XHTML transitional but still, no real error in error console).

    I don't get any JS errors in IE7, which has script logging turned on. I gather this is on a specific page(s) on CF, and not the frontpage?

    No. In my FF-2.0.0.1.1 and firebug-1.05 , I get this error in almost all pages and firebug points to this code
    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    //randomize order of contents with DIV class="group1"
    randomizeContent("group1")
    </script>

    Hmmm strange, I don't get any errors in FF 2.x either. I'll have to check this out in more detail later.

    Oh! Hehe, I know why, I know why! But I won’t tell ya!

    Nah, just kidding, I will tell you: The errors are caused because the Firefox Adblocker extension blocks some scripts that may be related to ads. That’s why frequent checking of the availability of an object is recommended. I don’t wanna sound supercilious but reading about unobtrusive JavaScript (especially this first chapter) – and applying the learned lessons – might be an option.

    Ah yes, the ad blocker is probably it. Now, instead of checking for the availability of JavaScript objects, maybe what I should be doing is checking for and disabling ad blockers.

    Check out http://dasauge.de with Adblocker enabled. While you may not understand what the message says literally (without a dictionnary, at least) and while this doesnít deactivate ad blockers it may give you some inspiration.

    Made me disable it for that site, at least.
