    target for flash menu buttons

    Can someone help me?

    I created a flash menu that has several buttons. This menu is in the left pane of my framed page.

    The framed page has three windows:

    - left-side.cfm (frame name=left)
    - top-side.cfm (frame name=rtop)
    - bottom-side.cfm(frame name=rbottom)

    When I click on the buttons in the flash menu, I can't get the linked page to appear in the bottom portion of the framed page. It keeps appearing in the left side. I tried putting in a <PARAM NAME=target VALUE=rbottom> in the code for the flash menu, between the OBJECT tags, but that doesn't work either.

    Do I have to do something in the Object Properties of each button in Flash or is there something else I have to do?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Gary

    If you are using the geURL function for your buttons, I think you can enter the frame as a parameter. I am not certain but it is worth trying.

    Your code would look something like this I guess:

    on (release) {
    getURL("www.pageaddress.com", "_rbottom");

    I know you can put _self or _top etc for the last bit so just try messing with it for a bit.
