outputting a scrolling stream of numbers to the screen

    hi all you javascript engineers...

this is probably not the place to ask it but I'm going to ask it anyway, maybe some of you know the best answer...

I'm wondering what language might be best to get an output like what you would see through a DOS batch file that is looping through files or through a visual studio exe when the coding streams data through to the output window via I/O.

so in other words, I want a language that can loop an int and output the int value as it sequences through but I want the output to be in a maximized window on the screen and have the data streamed slow enough so that someone who is not computer savvy can watch all of the numbers come out. DOS would be wonderful for this but I can never get the thing maximzed. Not only that but I dont' believe batch files can do loops or mathematics...

anyone interested in solving this one? thanks much! Again, there is no forum for this so I apologize to moderators if they have to move it.

Sounds more like computer programming so I’ve moved it there.
