    Hi everyone..

    i need help regarding on that error...

    Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

    OLEDB connection is different from ADODB connection.
    you call out an ADODB but I presume use an OLE DB connection string... idk, this
    is not a connection string I recognize, but I almost strictly do ADO (and it is not an ADO connection string)

    Yes, that is a valid connection string, according to

    But it's a really really old driver. It's from the days of MySQL version 2.3 or so (roughly 13 or 14 years ago).

    You'd be much better off installing the MyODBC 5.1 driver, especially if you are working with MySQL version 5 or later.

    (Prothman's examples don't show the 5.1 driver, but the connection string is the same except for the name of the driver itself.)
    Be yourself. No one else is as qualified.
