I have a <span> set out like this:

<div id="domainname">
<span id="DomainStatus">
When a domain name is entered, its checked using javascript - all sorted.
The problem is, it can't find that span. Currently I have the following:

document.getElementById(update[0]).innerHTML = update[1];
(update[0] is equal to "DomainStatus").
When loading the page and it calls this function I get the following:

Error: document.order.getElementById is not a function
Source File: http://www.neopian.co.uk/includes/order.js
Line: 40
Error: document.getElementById(update[0]) has no properties
Source File: http://www.neopian.co.uk/includes/order.js
Line: 40

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I guess athat the error is here:
if(response.indexOf('||' != -1)) {

shouldn't it be?

if(response.indexOf('||') != -1) {

ITs always worked before - its just the fact that I put it in a DIV which has stopped it from working.
