To the best of my knowledge you can not change the scroll bar of a drop down menu the way you can those of a browser window.

As an alternative, why not create a single drop down menu button of your own using an arrow in the initial picture of the button and no arrow in the mouseover, then the colours can be as you wish?

the regular dropdown menus can only be configured with the text size,color and face and background color of the dropdown list everything else is only going to be the color of the independant users PC, same with radio buttons and check boxes.

style="font:8pt arial;color:black;background-color:white

something like that :)

as an option you can try to find an applet that looks like the menu. those can be configured, though they may be slower

Further to yesterdays post and my suggestion. I have a custom menu here: http://www.geocities.com/murphyz_mike/pages/nav.htm which I created in fireworks.
I am suggesting to use one drop down instead of 4 and to make the button look like a pull down. Although I have mine as a mouseover you could make yours active on a mouseclick so it acts more like a normal drop down menu.

Do You need a menu (there's lots of them) or a combo box?
You can see one here:
