Hi Friends

Pls help me in getting a javascript code which resizes the web page to full screen.

The solution should not be of popup type as it gets blocked by most browsers now.

Is it possible to

a) send F11 key using javascript while the page is loading.

b) Pure javascript which resizes the page to full screen.

Pls take care that the solution also works with Firefox.

you can't do either of that. all you can do is resize the window to the screen's maximum dimensions. however, why do you think it's right to interfere with someone else's setup. users should be free to have their browser windows at whatever size they choose. it's really not for us developers to make that choice for them, now is it, particularly since they make have more than webpage open in the same window using tabs.

can't your design work on any resolution?

I want to do it for the following reasons

1) it will work on the intranet and will increase the efficiency of work .
2) i will get more space for showing things and thus avoiding scrolling down, etc
3) users are generally reluctant to make it full screen if it does not come up on its own.

Please help me in achieving full screen / maximized window.

Better yet what have you "tried" yourself. We aren't here to just give you code. We are here to help you with code. Post what you have tried. If this an intranet look into using a .hta file.
