View Full Version : PowerPoint Pop-ups Override Scrollbar Settings

Here's what surely must be an obsure JavaScript issue. I have a new website with several pop-up windows that launch PowerPoint slideshows within them. I have scrollbars=0 in my javascript, but the windows never-the-less open with an unwanted scrollbar on the right hand side. It seems to somehow be related to PowerPoint, as the pop-up windows on the same page that don't launch PowerPoint don't have this issue.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to solve this problem? It may seem minor, but in fact the scrollbars make some weird glitches accessible to the visitors that wouldn't be otherwise.

The url is http://www.newyorkmultimedia.com/presentation. There are four rollovers on the right hand side that open pop-up windows that demonstrate the issue. The first and fourth pop-ups launch PowerPoint (the fourth pop-up also reveals the unwanted glitch--PowerPoint sideshows with animations create an extra "junk slide" ahead of the opening slide that becomes accessible to visitors because of the unwanted scrollbar).

Thanks very much to anyone who can help.

Why do you have a function that does the same exact thing repeated 10 times? Just pass the proper variables to the function. You only need one function not 10
