View Full Version : Background Color- Cuts Away

So I am trying to make a CSS page. I like the idea of coloring the background of some paragraphs to separate them from others. So I put them in Div's.
The problem is that some of the Divs don't function in some browsers some of the time. The problem is that the background will get cut. You can center the paragraph and refresh and it’s all there, scroll around and come back the color is ½ is chopped off in the middle of a paragraph line.
IT ONLY DOES THIS IN non-full sized screens. But full sized or not the paragraph/li text is wrapping.

The DIV called “bbg” contains nothing but text and:
<h2><a name="...">...</a></h2>

Here is my CSS code which is a bit long because I am working with NS4 as my base browser (company request no arguing)
.bbg {
background-color: #EEEEFF;
padding-bottom: 5px;
padding-top: 5px;
padding-left: 15px;
padding-right: 15px;
margin-top: 10px;
margin-right: 45px;
margin-bottom: 10px;
margin-left: 45px;
border-color: #EEEEFF;
border-style: solid;
border-width: 1px;
font-size: 90%;
color: #000099;
font-family: arial, sans-serif;

It is currently acting up in IE6 in Windows.

Any ideas??

Ugh you will need to use ilayer and layer tags for NS4 unfortunately. :eek:
