I think you need to rethink what you are trying to do. Anything that could possibly deal with hacking a router page should give you an idea that what you are trying to do isn't good. Perhaps allow the user to login manually then have them run a file.

And how are we to know you are genuine and not some script-kiddie attempting to hack his school's/local libraries network? you may very well be the real deal, but posting information about how to hack routers from webpages is hardly the done thing on a public forum, especially when said information (if even exists) could be used by anyone to do exactly the same. we've only got your word that you wear a white - and not black - hat. surely, LinkSys themselves can provide the information you are looking for. anyway, Javascript is not a language which can help you here, which all the more suggests to me you're a potential script-kiddie.

forget it. i'm not here to gain your trust or anybody else's. i was looking for some solutions, and i thought this is the place. i'd say i'm looking at the wrong place. i can fairly say, you're just even trying to protect something you guys don't even know. don't bother at all. im not gonna be back here in any way. Surely, Linksys gave us the information on how to provision the machines so that these machines would gather the settings it needs from our server. but still, we have to put the provisioning server link inside the machine.

nevertheless, good luck to you all.
