View Full Version : Using Javascript in page with FIN_HTML, CGI PERL

I am very very new to CGI PERL (In fact I don't know it at all). I normally work with PHP.
I have a normal form validating javascript which has been working very well with html and PHP pages. I don't understand why it does not work with CGI PERL. :(
There is something called FIN_HTML and print << FIN_HTML;
and in between is the code. I guess it is because of that. Because when I save this file with another extension and just for trial basis, when I remove all FIN_HTML, the javascript works.
Can someone please help me with this. It's just a syntax problem I guess.
If someone is willing, I can send the file over. I have wasted a lot of time trying to do this, when it's such a small problem.
Please Please. It is a request. A sincere request.
Thanx a looooootttt

Well, thanx anyway.
The problem with javascript in CGI PERL is solved.
The thing is it was something to do with the "@" sign in the script.
So I saved the script as a .js file seperately and extrešacted it as src in the head, and it works.
Muchas gracias
