Thanks but i have checked the link and it works just fine if you want to check out or type luckystar06 in your search bar on your screen it should work.. as for the page things you must have something wrong with your browsers to get that error i looked at my site the exact link i gave you all and it works on another pc and it wasn't at home so i dunno what to tell you? sorry i will have to have the name of what your server or what browser your using cause i don't know exactly what the prob.. is yet..anyways if you like give me a shout if your still haveing trouble if not try another pc or i dunno but all the links work i had other friends of mine test it and they work... :D everything works fine on my end i dunno though ill try another place too..
hope to hear from you again and let me know so that i can ask a few of my buddies that might know what the prob.. or the deal is with you not being able to see the pages and not getting the error message becuase there shouldn't be anything wrong with them :(. sorry for the inconvenience

It needs alot of work and i have listed a few possabilities you could consider:

The background image is cluttered, maybe a purple background with a picture of an angel in the middle.

The boxes should be the same width as the title and more spacing between the title and the boxes

Use CSS instead of tables

As you go down the page the information is unorganised

The page is not valid HTML (it has 100 errors) (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fluckystar06.pitas.com%2F)

Overall this website has potential to be a great design and i hope you consider some pointers that i have made,

It's too cluttered and I hate the background image ;)

.. Ok, sorry it took me so long, on first viewing your page I tried to open my veins with a nearby staple-remover. But after exhausting myself in my unsuccessful efforts I wiped my memory... with a bottle of Jack Daniels. But I'm back and reasonably not drunk and so here are a few tips from what I remember.

As mentioned before the background image is not suitable for a background image. The banner image is sort of like a Hendrix meets Barbie acid trip that is strangely patriotic if you're from the United States. The biggest problem with the site so far as I can tell is that there is no real reason for it to exist and it contains no even remotely useful data. But that being said, I assume you don't have a whole lot of design experience, and taking that into account it's a pretty decent beginner webpage. Try to go for more simple and stream-lined designs instead of the cluttered look. Consistency is also something to strive for in a web page so that when you change pages it doesn't seem like you've tumbled down a rabbit hole.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and embedding the song Lucky Star by Madonna would seem appropriate. Good song. *hums to himself*

Immediately I'll apologize as I have nothing favorable to say. If there were websites in the 1970s, this is what I'd expect they'd look like. There are so many issues I don't know where to begin. As such...

I would can the site and start over from scratch. But before doing so I would start searching the web for examples of valid and semantic mark-up, and read up on web accessibilites. You'll find 1000s of sites to look at, 1000s of tutorials. Explore the code, make a couple of basic pages, play with CSS, then make your site and ask for a review.

At that point it might be easier for someone to make small suggestions which will bring your site from good to great perhaps. But as it is, the task of making it a half-way decent website would be an overwhelming and daunting task.

On the bright side, please try not to feel bad about my comments. They are truthful and in the long run, the truth IS what you want and need. Anyway, you're no different than a lot of new developers in that they try and try again. My portfolio, for eaxmple, is kinda neat, and pretty accessible, but in many ways it's a horrible website. It needs a lot of work to make it better. I'm capable of much better. But when I made it it was my best work. Now, to put this in a better light, my portfolio is in its 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th edition, depending on what's being counted. And get this, I am currently consdiering making yet another version. This time a good one.

This reply, while perhaps a bit chilly, is really meant to be in your best interest and thus I hope you take it as such.

Good luck.

Um green beast i don't know if you got my message or not but i sent you one that says that i don't really have a point im just hands on type of girl and like to put things together on sites and see how it works im not a book worm and i don't learn that way i learn by doing and hands on...and then i also learn by others teaching me and if they suggest something to put up then i go look it up instead of asking them and then i place it in where it says for me to place it in and then i have other friends of mine that are reall html masters that tell me what's wrong with it and they all say they see nothing wrong... especially my brother. he's the biggest pro i know. i ask him for stuff all the time and he listens and goes through and fixes things. not trying to be rude to you either i know what your getting at but i don't want to be told that im not good enough cuase that does nothing for me if you tell me what i need to improve on like others above have that helps me  but thanks for your in put ill try to keep what you said in mind. im trying to come up with a point wich really i don't have one besides to show off what i can do with photos.. i guess not trying to brag or anything. and i did have another background that went with it but somone deleted it off my pc and i don't think i have it on my other album.. so i dunno and yes im still developing more and more so don't think you haven't seen the last of me here lol anyways hope noone took that to sarcasticly. anyways gotta go. maybe ill think of a new background for the rest of the site i was just experimenting with the purple one...btw. i did have them all the same at one point...im trying to switch to a different color or try to find one that isn't controversial. i might just put a fairy and an angel both and be done with it... i would like to know what color to work with cause oviously someone thinks its not profetional like when i did divide the content up in different areas. i like cludder spaces makes it more interesting...and makes people sit and read it all. its just as cluddered as Green's no affence Green. But anyways i have to get going. lataz all.

Nope, didn't get your message. I do offer honesty with encouragement, but feel you need a different approach. That's why I suggested CSS. As far as me taking offense to my site being cluttered -- http://www.green-beast.com I assume -- none taken. I said it myself that it's got a cool collection of styles and it isn't too-too bad, but it's needs re-doing. In fact I'm doing that now. I started a new portfolio yesterday. Hopefully I'll post it as complete here by Friday.

Good luck.

There. I re-did mine. I would have had it done Friday as I said but I lost my OS Thursday and instead spent the better part of the day doing a dirty install of XP Pro, then I had to upgrade to SP2 again so I could restore connections to a LAN I own. What a sucky day that was, a royal pain in the butt.

But anyway, I finished editing the content this morning and launched it. My new portfolio won't be described as cluttered. I guarantee it ;)
