View Full Version : [Solved] Flash - Continuous Rotate Irregularity

I've been building a web page header flash. ---> Here (http://www.alexrat.netfirms.com/ominous/) (Ignore graphic above, that page is just where I'm storing the stuff)

The background symbols rotate continuously and the middle logo continuously if hovered over. After the final turn the symbols freeze momentarily as the start and end frames are obviously the same.

I've rectified this problem with the background rotating symbols by having the timeline repeat a frame before the symbol finishes (thus missing the final frame), but with the logo button this isn't possible.

Is there a way in actionscript or otherwise that in a symbol's initial keyframe I can tell it to only play 'X' amount of the frames before repeating rather than going to the end?

*sigh* My apologies. I've just realised I can have a blank layer with a keyframe in a different place that has: 'gotoAndPlay(1)' in it.

Only had the trial for 2 weeks. So I'm still getting used to it's features.

Sorry everyone.

Infact I don't even need to have the blank layer, by having the actionscript in the final frame it means it doesn't get played.

(I'll sort myself out eventually)
