View Full Version : help needed urgently

I was wondering whether you can help me I am getting quite desperate as
no-one seems to be able to fix my autosurfer.
I REALLY need help now.
I run an autosurfer and the site is running slower and slower because of the
db query backlog.
The surf bar is constantly updating MySQL. Every 20 seconds it updates the
credits to the surfers account.

I need someone to design a new implementation of the surfbar and perhaps
change some of the databases to have a little more 'intelligence' to cut
down on the constant queries. We are running on a dual xeon processor but we overload it for several hours per day as the backlog increases. At other
times it runs like a dream

I need someone to start weeding out extra queries that really don't need to
be there. Perhaps the query for surfed pages from the surfbar should never
update until they actually finish surfing. At that time, the query should
run to update the database. So instead of a query every 1 page hit, we have
one database query. Or perhaps update the db every 30 sites or something.
That is the sort of thing would make a huge difference to my site.

The main culprit seems to be the 7statsite db.
Please if you think you can help me please contact me ASAP
I am not asking for charity I will pay I'm just not sure how much work would be involved

The guy who looked at my script thinks that it will need to be rewritten from scratch and more likely database structure as well because it takes too many queries to do something so I was thinking that if I bought a new script instead would it be possible to transfer the info from the original dbs to the new ones?

The data can be transfered to the new db. PM for more info.

The data can be transfered to the new db. PM for more info. :thumbsup:What I would really prefer would be to have my script and databases fixed though because what whatever script I bought would probably have the same problems eventually as we have a member base of over 6,000 members surfing.
I also have a few mods that I'd like done as well.
