View Full Version : CSS positioning issues....

I'm trying to position one <div>, with absolute positioning, inside another <div> that is positioned relatively...I've done this before, but I can't seem to get it to work this time...

The problem is on this page: http://www.mediamogulsweb.com/ad_banner.php

Visually speaking, I want the textual list items inside the "Static Banner Price List " box to be farther down inside the box, just to the right of the smaller, bottom blue boxes....

And while you're looking, I can't seem to get the header of the box, "Static Banner Price List," to center at the top of the box....

Please let me know if I haven't explained the problem well enough for you....

Thanks in advance.

For the positioning, change:

postion:absolute to:

position:absolute (don't be ashamed too much; I did exactly the same a while ago! :o )

For the centering: I can't really tell. Slap a border on the p containing the text, and check if it is properly aligned itself; if not, you may need to fiddle with padding and margins on it and the containg element a bit.
