View Full Version : CSS display messed up in IE & Firefox (windows ONLY)

This is my first attempt at a fully CSS based site.
I got really far, designing and testing on a mac (os x) using Safari and Firefox.
Everything was working great, then the client said that it was all screwed up on his maching (Internet Explorer/Firefox, Windows).

I have been reading many posts and websites of IE Hacks, but they dont seem to work, can you help?!

Page: http://sal05.nodstrum.com/brochureDvd.php
CSS: http://sal05.nodstrum.com/style.css
What it should look like: http://sal05.nodstrum.com/images/broadband/other/pageSpanshot.jpg

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

What's so "messed up" about it? I viewed it on IE6.0/Win2000, and it looked close enough to your screen shot; by the way, if it doesn't show up as expected on FireFox/win, IE hacks are useless anyway.

Thanks for the reply!
Literally 5mins ago i fixed it.
I had to use the absolute position on all 4 boxes.... Took a while to work out, but It works across all browsers Win/Mac! which is what i wanted!
