I'll try to explain this the best I can:

I have a site where the url is http://www.whatever.com/cgi-bin/this.fcgi
I want to link to http://www.whatever.com/cgi-bin/that.fcgi

I want to put a javascript link at "this" site (http://www.whatever.com/cgi-bin/this.fcgi) linking to "that" site (http://www.whatever.com/cgi-bin/that.fcgi)

I know that I could write a link using the full URL, but I would like to know how I could link to the page without using the full URL.

I tried document.location="that.fcgi" But that didn't work

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I really don't understand what you mean? are you looking to redirect from "this" to "that"? I really just don't understand what you're trying to do, maybe you can explain in more detail.

It this and that are on separate domains then you will have to use the full path...

They're on the same domain. I could use the full path, but I'm wondering if there is a way to make a link without using the full path.

I have a website www.whatever.com

One of the pages is www.whatever.com/cgi-bin/this.fcgi

Another page is www.whatever.com/cgi-bin/that.fcgi

I want to put a link on "this" page linking to "that" page

I know I could use document.location="http://www.whatever.com/cgi-bin/that.fcgi", But I want to create a link without using the full URL.
