View Full Version : CSS Postioning Woes: Columns not lining up

I dunno why I didn't do this sooner, but I'm going to ask my question to the experts ( I guess it is because I try to be very independent and fix stuff myself =P ). ANYWAYS, I took the CSS plunge, and it turned out great for the most part; except I have a thorn in my side. I can't get my left content to line up with the main content, it is pushed down to the bottom, in both of my styles to boot. Im thinking it is something I messed up with the CSS when I messed with it (yes, I used premade CSS, sue me it is a start) or if it is a HTML problem.

The Site in Question (http://www.greenbomber.com)
Here is the CSS for the main style (http://www.greenbomber.com/gb.css)

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried giving the content element a float right, instead of the nav a float left? That content element is on the top, so it should float right along side it, since the nav is on the bottom, it may not float next to the adjacent element. The other question is nav 20em may be too wide for it to fit properly within the content, since you've specified that as a percentage.

I got rid of the width, and changed the float to right and it is still on the bottom.

Ok, I managed to get the left content div to where it should be. Now, I am presented with a new problem. The main contetn div is pushed to the bottom, and if I take the clear: left off, the quote div freaks out.

Can someone please help me? Thanks, once again, in advance.
