Hi people. Is it possible to set the width of the right border on a table without affecting the rest of the table border?

Please try the following

<table border=0 style="border-right:5px solid blue">

Thank you :D
And does the same apply for left top an bottom?

You could set each of the tables 4 borders to whatever size you want and use a variety of border styles.

dotted | dashed | solid | double | groove | ridge | inset | outset

<table border=0 style="border-top:1px solid green;border-right:2px solid yellow;border-bottom:3px solid red;border-left:4px solid blue">

I think you could also use it on the TD cell as well but I'm not sure if it is standards compliant

<TD style="border-top:1px solid green;border-right:2px solid yellow;border-bottom:3px solid red;border-left:4px solid blue" </TD>

Just tried it in Moz so it must be ok

I remember someone posting border="0 0 0 0" or something similar what does that do?

That wouldn't work.

You can do "border: 3px solid blue;" to apply a solid blue border of 3 px around the whole element.

Also, dotted isn't support by IE/Win, or at least... it seem that way. It renders it as dashed :O(

OK then Mr. J's answer will do just fine.

Thanks people :)

It all depends on the size of the border as to how a dotted one is rendered.

In IE:

at 1 pixel it looks like a dash

at 2 pixel it looks like a square

at 3 and above, your guess is as good as mine :D

Indeed! But a dotted line should look dotted at 1px, 2px or 3px+ ;O)

It doesn't look dotted at all in IE/Win :O(
