View Full Version : AIM Auto Change Away Message

I want to set up a group of html files so that when I run them, they will automatically set my awaymessage to be a whatever the code sayes... but I want it to change after a specified amount of time.

For example, lets say I want to be back in 20 minuites, well I need it to change every minuite. I DID find a site that has this working: http://awaybox.com/backtimer.php . However I have to admit that I only know little HTML and hardly any JavaScript so me looking over the code was quite just a blur for me.

I do however know how to make just a page with a link: <a href="aim:goaway?message=Please+help+me+I+CANNOT+stay+this+same+message+forever!!+I+need+to+change+after+a +set+timelimit">Click Here to Set an Awaymessage on.</a>

Somehow that can be edited and put into an html file so that it auto loads. People do that all the time for little annoying hacks to AIM. Although I didnt write this myself, I found it in the sorce code when sombody sent me a bad file... It hosed my PC: (iframe src="aim:goaway?message=I+Like+Dick!!" height="0" width="0")(/iframe)<p>So after you load the away message you have to set up a timer, and other away messages. Thats where you come in. I cannot figure that out, please help.
