View Full Version : html that will cycle through intranet web page, publisher, excel, etc

Hello. I was able to write hmtl to cycle through 4 images. What I was doing was taking screen shoots of the web page I needed to display, a Publisher file, and an Excel file. I would then put it into the below code. As you can see I had it cycling every 10 seconds. The Previous and Next buttons worked but couldn't find a way for a stop button to work. This "dashboard" will be updated and published daily. What I'd like to have is a code that will cycle through each specific identified file that each party is responsible for, rather than going in after updates and taking screen shots. Thanks.

<title>LC Board</title>
<script type = "text/javascript">
function displayNextImage() {
x = (x === images.length - 1) ? 0 : x + 1;
document.getElementById("img").src = images[x];

function displayPreviousImage() {
x = (x <= 0) ? images.length - 1 : x - 1;
document.getElementById("img").src = images[x];

function startTimer() {
setInterval(displayNextImage, 10000);

var images = [], x = -1;
images[0] = "Calendar.png";
images[1] = "LC COR.png";
images[2] = "LC SAR.png";
images[3] = "Annual Leave.png";

<body onload = "startTimer()">
<img id="img" src="startpicture.jpg"/>
<button type="button" onclick="displayPreviousImage()">Previous</button>
<button type="button" onclick="displayNextImage()">Next</button>
