View Full Version : No image ?

Nov 21st, 2014, 10:34 PM
<img src="path" />
<a rel = "nofollow,noindex" onclick = "var elem = document.createElement('img');elem.setAttribute('src','path');this.appendChild(elem);" href = "...">&lt;</a>

The first line shows image animation just fine, so it is there.
Upon click the square shows (FF) like in case image element is inserted into element but there is no image on the path specified.

EDIT: tested on GC and IE
IE - gif shows but no animation or gif frezes or something.

How to do this cross browser ?

This worked for me in latest GC and IE (I don't have FF)

<a rel = "nofollow,noindex" onclick = "var elem = document.createElement('img');elem.setAttribute('src','angry_bear.gif');this.appendChild(elem);" style="cursor: pointer;">&lt;</a>
