not sure what the rules are on this
i want to take this bitcoin ticker and put it in a div on my website with one swft javascript swoop
there has to be a way to do it, the ticker is made with javascript

1) You can't use JavaScript to get content from other sites. JavaScript can only get content from the same site as the page containing the script.

2) it is illegal to copy other people's copyright materials and images - don't try it unless you want to attract a swarm of expensive lawyers.

3) bitcoins are purely imaginary and hence are a gigantic swindle. As economist John Quiggin stated, "bitcoins will attain their true value of zero sooner or later, but it is impossible to say when."

All advice is supplied packaged by intellectual weight, and not by volume. Contents may settle slightly in transit.

1. which div do you want?
2. have you considered embedding one of the linkable graphs (and updating it as need be, every 5 minutes if you wish) - it would seem that the page owners are happy for you to do that
3. there are plenty of bitcoin APIs out there, with methods exposed to developers - any reason why this page in particular?
4. I think the last few years have taught us that, under the current system, all money is imaginary - why not let the kids have some fun and make up their own?
