View Full Version : Upload Site

I want to open up a upload site which is similar to how megaupload works but I can not pay out straight away, I have the money for the servers to get it up running and working but not to pay for the site to be made as a family member just passed away and I had to pay for the funeral, what I can do is offer money once the site is up and making money as I already have planned out a blueprint for the levels of SEO to be made for the site which will shoot it up high straight away.
This will be a project that make allot of money if me and the crue put allot of work in as we are very dedicated in this project, all we need now the site coded, fully functional with a User Control panel, Administrator Control panel and the upload site itself with a few features.

I can also offer seo work to be done to your site and a premium account on the site once its done, along with the money that will get paid to you once the site makes profit.

Hope someone helps out.
Thank You.

Kind Regards,

Who is this 'crue' you speak of or do you mean 'crew' ?

Also, how many of you are there? - It sounds like you have several others interested but if I'm honest, it sounds more like you're a bunch of managerial types who all think you've got the right ideas but no real knowledge to make it happen. That can be a nightmare for a a programmer when they're being pulled in multiple directions by people who all insist they know best even though they don't understand a line of code.

If there are that many of you, you might want to actually try building it yourselves or at least pool your resources to hire a coder. With that many of you, I don't think you'll get any coder to work for you for free on the promise of payment at a later date.

You might have better luck posting in the jobs forum. Someone might decide to help you out in their spare time but no-one really likes working for free.

Yes I did mean 'crew', we have 5 people involved, and i code in html, css and basic C++, along with the co-owner that can code in python professionally, I have allot of experience with how to take it of and make sure it is successful, getting it out there wont be a problem.

As for the design, I can code, I just need the back end to be done. Just prefer if the coder does it aswell

Thats the kind of stuff you needed to mention in your opening post.

I'm confused though, if you have a python programmer, why do you want this done in php?

I prefer it to be done in php, it will help me out in the long run

The problem you may have is that if you have a Python programmer who won't be touching this project without being paid, how will you convince anyone else to do it in php who doesn't know you? It kind of looks like the python programmer is going to be bouncing ideas and doing the shouting with yourself while the php guy does the real work with you two taking the credit and money.

I think you're facing a tough start if I'm honest. I still think you should both try and scrape some funds together and put up a paid job ad.

The python programmer will no longer do it what i can do is sign a contract that i will pay the programmer once the company starts earning money, I will also code all the design work to take some stress off the coder.
