Hi, I need some help. I hope you guys and gals can help me out.

I had installed MS IIS on my computer. What I am having problem with is running a discussion board made from the wizard in Microsoft Frontpage 2002. I can get it to run. Does anyone know how I can get this to run? Where should I place the files?

I am trying to do this offline. My computer is not networked.

I can get it to run. Does anyone know how I can get this to run? Seems like you answered your own question.

Store your (ASP?) files where you like. Then open IIS and create a new website. You then browse to the folder where you stored your files.

Like i said.

Store the files wherever you want, like c:\webdevelopment\mysite\

then you open IIS (settings\configuration\systemmanagement\Internet Information Server

click on the computername, then rigthclick on "default website" and "new virtual map" or something (don't hav an english version here). Then just folow through the wizard. The defaultoptions are fine. In the wizard, you need to choose a sitename (example: testsite) and browse to the site where your files are located (your applications root)

Then open a browserwindo and in the adressbar, you type:

(suppositn testsite is the name you filled in in IIS and thepage.htm is a file in the applications root.

or in the explorer, right click the folder which holds the files, select "sharing & security" (for XP-Pro) then select web sharing, set sharing on, accept the default name for the site (or enter another one) and then you are set.
access the site with the url Raf mentioned
