Hey guys im still new to CSS and HTML, but i did manage to get my site up and running with minimal experience and all that i did learn from here and other sources on the net. Its a hotel/motel site, we are with Choice Hotels under their name ECONOLODGE i want to create a section where a user can input checkin and checkout dates along with number of adults and children, then when they hit the submit button it opens a link on CHOICE HOTEL own page with that info and displays the rate information. my site is www.econolodgegallup.com and current the reservation tab just forwards it to there and the user inputs all that data there, but i got a hold of some information that would make it easier for us to collect that data on my site and then forward that all to theirs once the user hits submit, if you want to see an example http://www.econolodgeflagstaff.com/ is the perfect one, on the left side of that site, user puts in what date he is checking in and checking out then number of adults and children and hit submit. Choice has given us the format or formula to accomplish this but i dont know how to implement it at all. here is there format

"To link directly to your ebrochure rate display on your ebrochure homepage (this is the most complex method), use this format: http://www.qualityinn.com/ires/en-US/html/RateDisplay?hotel=CN012&month=3&day=12&depart_month=3&depart_day=15&nadult=2&nchild=2

Important: The rate display format requires that additional information be submitted:
hotel (hotel code - e.g. FL445)
month (arrival month - e.g. 3)
day (arrival day - e.g. 12)
depart_day (departure day - e.g. 3)
depart_month (departure month - e.g. 15)
nadult (number of adults - e.g. 2)
nchild (number of children - e.g. 2)

Any help provided would be really appreciated and if you can help me get this up and running, i will hook u up with a free night if u ever come through gallup new mexico !!!!! thanks

Create a form whose "action" points to their URL:

<form action="http://www.qualityinn.com/ires/en-US/html/RateDisplay" method="post">

Within that form, create input items with names matching those that they specified:

<input name="hotel" value="CN012">
<input name="month">
<input name="day">
<input name=depart_month">
...

Thanks for that info really appreciate it, I found an example on http://www.oceanshoresqualityinn.com/ pretty much the way you described it, and i was able to put in my values on that code, do a little refining and get it working, but as you can see the month and date are both drop down selections, how could i change that to a date picker? i personally have never done that before any guidance would help. I was doing a search on date pickers and the one that jquery offers seems really good and its also customizable, but right now i just want to get it working.

Am I misreading? You said you managed to get it working, but you want to get it working. Huh? What do you have so far? What more do you need?

Sorry jalarie, i mean i want to get it working with a datepicker, not a drop down list. drop down list works, but tried everything with jquery datepicker, and no luck i even tried other different date pickers, still no go with that method, if you know any easy date pickers to work with let me know. thanks again.

By "date picker," do you mean a clickable calendar of some type? The drop-downs are lots faster, easier, and they work without scripting.

i agree with you there, but if you look at hotel reservation sites its always date pickers, thats kind of the trend nowadays. Ive looked everywhere couldnt get much info on it to make it work like i want.

Please go to the Sample Order Form at http://spruce.flint.umich.edu/~jalarie/jaa_kca.htm and select the second choice for "Needed by:" (year, DATE, checkbox, month, dropdown) items. Is that what you want? I'm not passing it out for free, just trying to understand exactly what you want.
