View Full Version : Different margin (Firefox > IE,Chrome,Safari)

I'm having this issue that margin-top is showing correct in Firefox and wrong in IE,Chrome,Safari. or vice-versa. basicly they arent showing the same with a common code line.

The picture is adjusted correct to the text on the left side in firefox, wrongly in IE,safari, chrome. (the top of the image needs to align with the top of the text)

It seems hopelessly easy, but im stuck. Anyone that can help?

Appreciate it.

The margin above the skateboards image looks the same to me in FF10, IE8 and Chrome.
Maybe you've fixed it?

Hmm, maybe I have. I'll get back with a final answer, thanks :)

re-checked again and again, it is not the same on my mac. Firefox is still showing the 'correct' margin as I wan't it, Chrome etc. does not show the same margin to the top on my computer. Anyone with an input?

Just a suggestion, but I won't put the navigation bar absolute. It blocks the page when you scroll down, and users don't link that. If you have an absolute navigation bar, it should be touching the top of the window.
