Hello, I am creating a nested loop and I can not easily figure out how to remove the custom bullet from my ordered list. Any help would be greatly appreciated. What is appearing is the first two items have a bullet and the next items have numbers, then the bullets, then the text. I want to skip the bullets.

<ul class="sub_bullet">
<li>First unordered item</li>
<li>Lead in for Ordered list:
<ol>
<li>First ordered item</li>
<li>Second ordered item</li>
</ol>
</li>
</ul>

The CSS entries for my lists are as follows:

ol { line-height: 2em; }
ul { text-align: left; list-style: none; line-height: 2em; margin-left: 10px; padding-left: 0px; }
ul.sub_bullet li { background:url("../images/sub_bullet.gif") 0 .5em no-repeat; padding-left:22px; }
ul.heading_bullet li { background:url("../images/heading_bullet.gif") 0 .5em no-repeat; padding-left:30px; }
ul.heading_bullet ul li { background:url("../images/sub_bullet.gif") 0 .5em no-repeat; padding-left:22px; }

That will do:

text-decoration: none;

Hi there mhamilton3,

and a warm welcome to these forums. ;)

Try it like this...

ul.sub_bullet ol.no_bullet li {background:none;}

I had tried that and it did not work. Thanks for getting back to me. The Background:none worked perfectly.
