View Full Version : JScript.Encode & Netscape

I really appreciate the help people give in this forum. This is definitely one of the most helpful forums around.

After getting all my scripts to work in IE, I decided to encode them with Microsoft SCRENC. After reading up on the net, I guess only IE can read them which makes sense. Any idea if there exists a free encoder that works in both IE and Netscape browsers?

My scripts aren't top secret or that unique but I would like to protect them if I could because some protect my email and forms.

Thanks for any advice anyone can give.

The amazing lack of response you've gotten is mostly due to the fact that there are already so many threads on this board about how little you can do to truly protect your code that many of the posters here are suffering from fatigue. Bottom line: Your browser has to have the code as readable text in order to process it so you cannot expect to truly protect your code from everyone.
