Adding shopping cart to my site . . .

I have to add a shopping cart to my site. I'm familiar with CSS. I've googled for information, but it's a bit overwhelming. I would just like to find a starting place.

Any suggestions?

CSS is for styling, which would have nothing to do with adding, coding, or installing a shopping cart feature.

If you are a novice coder, I would suggest using a canned solution such as mals-e.com (http://www.mals-e.com). Its free, very easy to set up, customizable, and can handle just about all your needs.
